About this event
Heading up for first chair and will ride until about 2pm.
NOTE: We leave on-time so ensure you arrive to the park n ride EARLY.
We leave Denver early to avoid getting stuck in I-70 traffic and arrive in Dillon around 7am for breakfast before heading over to the resort to gear up and get in line. We try to be in the Gondola/lift line by 8:15 (closer to 8am on powder days).
Varied skill levels. Mostly strong intermediate. Mostly blues cruisers. Some ride bumps, some ride the park. Will ride blacks/double blacks if powder day or good snow. We generally get 12-16 runs in for a day. We will often split up based on speed and terrain preferences.
No newbies or beginners please.
WHERE TO MEET
If you want to meet us at the restaurant or on the slopes, that's fine, too. Text me and let me know your plan and timing. Just know it is much harder to connect on the mountain and I won't make the group wait around to find you.
CAR POOLING There are often carpool options - Please use Event Chat in advance to discuss. I will post on the Event Chat Thursday/Friday to coordinate/confirm carpooling. Carpool availability depends on how many riders/drivers are going up on a given Saturday. I will do my best to coordinate carpool options for the group, but cannot guarantee it will always work out.
NOTE: Please be willing to chip in for gas if you are riding up with someone. Gas is not cheap. $10-20/person is fair.
My friends often join me for these events but often don't sign up on MeetUp. We typically have 2-5 people going even if nobody is signed up here.
I enjoy meeting new people and always welcome cool peeps to join, so please sign up and join us for a fun day on the slopes. Making friends and networking is just as important to me as having fun on the mountain. I'm often down for grabbing a beer after we get back to the Morrison park n ride as well if others are interested; there's a good brewery just across the street :-)
BY SIGNING UP AND/OR PARTICIPATING IN THIS EVENT, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ, FULLY UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THE FULL DISCLAIMER POSTED IN THE DENVER OUTDOOR ADVENTURES GROUP DESCRIPTION.
