About this event

Did you know there are 13 national parks in Colorado and another 70 in the 7 states that we border. I am sure most people know the famous ones like Rocky Mountain and Mesa Verde. Now we invite you to explore our lesser known parks with us. In November we will continue with exploring Sand Creek Massacre Historic Site . The park was established on February 15 of 2024 and it is about 198 miles from Erie in South East Colorado near the town Eads. A park official will join us on a video chat to talk about the history of Sand Creek, what's there to see and why you should visit. There will also be time to ask questions.
