About this event
Ever wondered what happens behind the gates of the National Lab in Golden? Here’s your chance to find out. Join fellow AESP members on Thursday, November 5, from noon to 1:30 p.m. for a free guided tour of the National Laboratory of the Rockies (the lab formerly known as NREL).
A guide will take us through two of the main campus’s best-known buildings. The Research Support Facility was billed as the country’s largest net-zero energy office building when it opened. The Energy Systems Integration Facility is the lab’s flagship space for energy systems research and testing. Bring your curiosity and your toughest questions.
An optional, post-tour late lunch may materialize for those who are interested in keeping the conversation going.
Spots are capped at 20, and registration closes November 3 so we can send our attendee list to NLR security. Grab yours early!
Important NLR Security Protocol :
• Non-U.S. citizens will require additional verification time; approval is not guaranteed ahead of the tour)
• Government-issued ID will be required to enter the facility (passport, valid military ID, REAL-ID-compliant driver's license.) Visitors who do not present required ID will be denied access.
