Realistic Drawing & Painting (11 - 14 yrs)

About this event

Working across different drawing medium we will begin by using pencils, charcoal, pastels and more to studio value, composition and more. We'll use acrylics and watercolors to learn techniques and skills in painting. Color mixing, composition, tone and value will be some of the skills that artists learn during this class. Students will work to paint realistically in this course as they build their artistic voice. Building upon various art works, this class culminates in an independent project of each student's choosing.

Each semester of Realistic Drawing & Painting has different projects but does use the same mediums and reviews some of the same skills. Most students feel just fine taking this class more than once and you know your student best. We would love your student to come again and again!
