Adult Contemporary Level 1/2

About this event

Adult Contemporary – Level 1/2 Designed for beginner and beginner-intermediate dancers, this class is a welcoming introduction to contemporary dance. Students will explore the foundations of contemporary movement while building strength, coordination, flexibility, and confidence in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Classes combine elements of modern dance, ballet, and improvisation, introducing concepts such as floor work, weight shifts, musicality, and expressive movement. Dancers will learn across the floor, center combinations, and short phrases that encourage creativity, artistry, and personal expression while developing proper technique. No previous contemporary experience is required—just a willingness to move, explore, and grow. This class is perfect for dancers looking to build a strong technical foundation while discovering their own unique movement style.
