About this event

Prepare for a night of high-energy BeBop and Soulful expression with saxophonist and vocalist, Max Wagner. A fixture of the Colorado Music scene, Wagner is widely celebrated for his vibrantly lyrical saxophone playing and his charismatic, effortless command of the stage. Described by the Denver Post as a “powerful and innovative soloist,” Max brings a deep, historical resonance to his performances. Having honed his craft on the legendary bandstand of El Chapultepec, his music carries the grit and authenticity of the true Jazz Tradition. Whether he is navigating a complex, blazing tempo or delivering beautiful ballad, Wagner treats every note as the moment of truth. His performance is more than just a concert; it is an act of storytelling. Between masterful solos, you can expect Max to engage the audience with his trademark warmth and humor, and to showcase the scatting skills that have long delighted audiences.
