Wheel Throwing! Mini Vases (8 - 12 yrs)

Join us at Clay Hub for a taste of wheel throwing! You'll start the day at your own pottery wheel, learning how to center clay, pull walls, and shape your vases with guidance from our instructors. After a snack and break, it’s time to add color! Each student will keep 2-3 mini vases, which we’ll clear glaze, fire, and have ready for pick-up about three weeks later. No experience needed—just come ready to create!

This school day off camp is open to both brand-new and continuing pottery students, ages 8+. Because each participant works at their own wheel, everyone can move at their own pace. Each session will include a demo of the specific form or technique shared in the camp title, giving returning students a helpful review while offering beginners a clear starting point.
