Rare Access & Great Camaraderie
Small Group Art-making at inspiring Cherokee Ranch
ARTS AFIELD " en plein air "
The program allows small groups of artists access to varied locations on Cherokee Ranch on certain Wednesdays, for several months each year to paint, sketch, draw, or take photos at the group site. Individual dates and locations are below. Pre-register and meet in the parking lot for each selected date. Carry in and carry out supplies to enjoy the day from 8am – 1pm (8am in summer, 8:30 spring/fall) with select summer evenings. Artists may use tent restrooms (near the Castle). Arts Afield days offer inspiring time for capturing vistas, land, wildlife, and structures. Requires $37 access fee and a signed Land Liability Waiver.
