Access Guide:

Physical Location:

• Building located at 1660 N Federal Blvd. • The main entrance is along the north side of the building along 17th/Dick Connor Ave.

• No steps to enter building

• Front doors have push button

• There are no steps to travel throughout the main spaces. Entrance/exit onto the main rink area is flat. There is one step in between the DJ booth and party room to enter/exit the rink.

• Parking • Empower Field Lot W: is North East of Rainbow Dome (just North of 17th/Dick Connor St) and can be accessed via 17th/Dick Connor St. Pay to park , use code RAINBOW. It costs $6 to park for the day.

• Transportation • Rainbow Dome recommends using rideshares and public transportation. • Bus and light rail • Buses that stop within a block of Rainbow Dome: 20 & 31

• Decatur Federal Station (.4 miles, 12 min walk)

• Light rail line W • Buses that stop at this station: 15L, 16, 30, 31

• Buses that stop at Gate G (on East side of Federal): 1, 16

• Bike • Rainbow Dome is near many bike paths, closest are the route along 17th ave from Sloan’s Lake, and we are close to the Platte River trail

• There are 6 rainbow colored bike racks are located along the North side of the Rainbow Dome parking lot (closest side to 17th)

Other Details:

• Rainbow Dome supports mask wearing, and offers free masks for folks that would like one. Masks are not required.

• No food or drink is allowed on the rink but is allowed in all other areas of the rink.

• Music will be playing throughout the event.

• Colorful and moving lights will be in the rink space (no strobes).

• Rainbow Dome asks our patrons to refrain from wearing strongly scented perfumes/colognes.

• No incense or burning candles allowed.

• We will have free earplugs available throughout the space.

• Restrooms are all-gender, and include an ADA family stall, and an additional ADA restroom, along with multiple private stalls.

• There are two baby changing tables, one in the family restroom and one in the main restroom space on the back of the wall of sinks.

• Low-sensory room is next to the party room on the West side of the lounge space. Please use this room to decompress and keep conversation quiet and to a minimum.

• We have vending machines available for folks to purchase additional drinks/snacks.

• We do have water fountains available for guests. Bring an empty water bottle!

• Alcohol and other substances are not allowed and will not be available for purchase.

• Bring your own protective skate gear if you’d like it, we don’t currently have any available for rent or for purchase.

Last, but not least: WAIVERS

• If you haven't signed our updated waiver through our new site, you must sign our new waiver for skate access (we will be tracking signed waivers with a new system, so all signatures will need to be renewed)
