About this event

Gong Bath

A deep listening ritual

This is a 60-minute, immersive sound experience centered around a 36” gong - an instrument most people have never encountered at this scale. The gong is so much more than just the big “bong” sound you might imagine. It’s a vast field of vibration: waves, overtones, silences, drones and sudden openings that move through the body as much as the ears.

As a professional musician, I approach this as a deep listening ritual. A space where sound supports rest, release, and nervous system recalibration. The gong can be gentle and grounding, or intense and expansive. Often it is all of these within the same session.

What to expect

• 45 minutes of gong bath You’ll be lying down, allowing the sound to wash through you. Some people experience deep relaxation, others vivid imagery, emotional release, or a sense of spacious clarity. You can enjoy the bath, meditiate or engage in gentle, self-guided stretching. All pair well with the offering.

• 5 minutes of group toning A simple, guided vocal practice to help integrate the experience and bring sensation back into the body. Be vocal, hum quietly or simply listen. Whatever you are comfortable with.

• 5 minutes of quiet integration / optional sharing To refelct on the experience, and share with the community anything that might come up.

Who this is for

This is for beginners and seasoned practitioners , for the spiritually curious and the sonically inclined, for burned-out creatives and people simply needing rest - and everyone inbetween. No experience required. Come as you are.

What to bring

• Yoga mat

• Optional: pillow, blanket, eye mask or cover

• Wear comfortable clothing

Intention

To offer a grounded, ritual-like space where sound becomes a tool for restoration and stimulation .

You’ll leave feeling rejuvenated, rested, and restored , with a clearer sense of your internal rhythm.
