Accomplice Training (4)

About this event

* Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian

* We are asking folks to pay $150 to participate in this training. However, we recognize that financial barriers often prevent folks in our community from accessing valuable education. In an effort to honor and alleviate this challenge, we offer a sliding scale for those in our Indigenous community and to those of other systemically disenfranchised communities, to pay what they can, between the range of $150 and $75.

This workshop will serve as a brief introduction to the history, current state and future of Indigenous Resistance to the colonial project on Turtle Island. The importance of relationships to Mother Earth, community, and Indigenous sovereignty will be discussed parallel to the rematriation of co-opted concepts such as “permaculture.” Aspects of deconstructing the colonial mindset will be focal, as well as cultivating a better world for future generations that is counter to the oppressive patriarchal systems.
