About this event
In recognition of Veterans Day, MSU Denver’s School of Aviation & Aerospace is proud to host the Denver screening of AIRMAN: The Extraordinary Legacy of Calvin G. Moret, presented by the One Better World Project.
The evening features an exclusive behind-the-scenes screening on the life and legacy of Calvin G. Moret, Louisiana’s last Tuskegee Airman, followed by a live conversation and Q&A with award-winning filmmaker Amy Serrano. Built from intimate interviews and footage captured during the final years of Mr. Moret’s life, AIRMAN explores his story and the enduring legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen and the generations of Black aviators who continue carrying those lessons forward.
This event is presented in partnership with the Hooks Tuskegee Airmen Chapter, the Aurora Chamber of Commerce’s Buckley Regional Military Affairs Council (BRMAC), and Wings Over the Rockies.
Any fundraising supports the One Better World Project and completion of the full documentary. MSU Denver serves as the event host and does not receive or administer those contributions.
Seating is limited and advance registration is requested.
Parking: The Tivoli Parking Garage is at 901 Walnut Street, next to the Tivoli Student Union. Payment is required on arrival.
