- ➤ Aurora Parks and Recreation opened the first of two eSports hubs inside a rec center on Monday. The hub features 10 gaming PCs, a PlayStation 5 and a Nintendo Switch and is free with a rec membership, while a second hub opens today at the Southeast Recreation Center. Denver7

- ➤ Downtown Denver has two faces today — vibrant lower areas near Union Station enjoy nearly full occupancy while older upper towers face a 37.7 percent vacancy rate; the city approved a $165 million plan, including converting the Petroleum Building into 178 residences, to boost the area. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Boulder County officials have largely contained a grass fire that ignited Monday between Broomfield, Lafayette and Louisville, and evacuation orders in the affected area will be lifted soon. Crews remain on site near Northwest Parkway (close to Highway 287 and Dillon Road) as they work to extinguish smoldering hay bales. Colorado Public Radio
- ➤ Evacuation orders were issued in Boulder County after a grass fire began near Louisville Monday at 2 p.m., forcing residents to leave areas including South Pointe Subdivision + Good Samaritan Hospital. Officials closed US 287 + W. Dillon Road as the blaze spreads further. Denver7
