Aurora has opened two esports hubs to boost youth skills in STEM & career paths; the Central hub at E.
Vassar Place opened yesterday, while the Southeast venue hosts a grand opening today from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with food, giveaways and Denver Broncos mascot Miles.
🚧 Accidents
On Oct. 29, Mary Crone from Glen Haven reported that a mountain lion killed her dog near West Creek Road—the same area where CPW reported a fatal hiker attack on New Year’s Day—raising concerns that a third lion remains unaccounted for.
🏛️ Government
On Tuesday, the Nederland Board of Trustees approved a $120M purchase of Eldora Mountain Resort, funded through revenue bonds so no new taxes would be needed.
Nearly 700 Eldora employees became town employees as POWDR manages the resort during the two-year transition period.
