- ➤ Family members in Denver remembered Renee Good for her warmth on Friday, noting that the 37-year-old substitute teacher was fatally shot on Jan. 7 during an immigration raid in Minneapolis after she had moved from Kansas City. Colorado Public Radio

- ➤ Aurora and surrounding communities host a slate of arts events this weekend. - ➤ Douglas County commissioners voted to invest $1.5 million for year-round aerial firefighting support—renewing their contract with Trans Aero, LTD for a Type 2 helicopter amid high fire risk. Officials say the move strengthens readiness as wildfires continue to threaten the area. Denver7
- ➤ State lawmakers advanced HB26-1007 on Thursday, approving safety regulations for portable plug-in solar panels — devices that do not require electric provider approval. - ➤ CDPHE said an unvaccinated Broomfield child tested positive for measles, which may have exposed students, staff, and patrons at Broomfield High School and other local sites.
