- ➤ Seven people were displaced Friday afternoon in Aurora after a fast-moving fire on the 16000 block of East Asbury Avenue spread from one home to a neighboring home; firefighters controlled the blaze in about 20 minutes after receiving calls at 3:30 p.m., and no injuries were reported. - ➤ Water negotiators resumed talks on March 2 to set up a short-term water release deal that calls for 500,000 acre feet to flow from Flaming Gorge and a 1.25 million acre feet cut in lower basin use, as current guidelines are set to expire this fall.
