- ➤ Denver's 97-year-old City Park bandstand suffered severe damage from an overnight fire on Thursday and is a total loss. City Park Jazz will hold all 10 weeks of its series with a mobile stage and alternative power source + is asking for donations to help cover the costs. Denver7
- ➤ Denver’s Ballpark District is gearing up for the Rockies season—street ambassadors now patrol the area for cleaning, maintenance, security, and outreach around Coors Field as the home opener arrives next Friday. - ➤ Denver restaurants now serve water only on request per Stage 1 drought rules that began on March 25 and last until April 30 — a measure aimed at cutting waste. A Denver Water spokesperson said the change helps save water during the warm, dry winter. Denver7
