- ➤ The Freedom Plane landed at Denver International Airport Tuesday carrying nine historic documents from the National Archives for a 17-day, free-admission exhibit that opens tomorrow at History Colorado before it heads to Miami. Denver7

- ➤ Denver tree experts are testing cultivars at the CSU Spur campus to find species that can withstand drought and disease. Research scientist Jon Martin planted an experimental grove of 80 trees in late 2024 with irrigation setups + sensors to speed up the adoption of climate-resilient shade trees. Colorado Public Radio
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Thornton City Council is considering updating ordinances on e-bikes after community safety complaints. Proposed rules would let e-bikes with pedals ride on trails at speeds of 20 mph (non-pedal models would be banned) and add fines for dangerous behavior, with a public education campaign if approved.
