- ➤ The 20th anniversary Fields Wolfe Memorial Gala will be held on July 25 at the Denver Botanic Gardens to honor the lives of Javad Marshall-Fields and Vivian Wolfe, and to celebrate over 30 Fields Wolfe Scholars who received educational aid. Commissioner Rhonda Fields will host the event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with doors opening at 4:30 p.m., and awards will be given to figures such as Dr. Al Yates & U.S. Sen. - ➤ A bipartisan statewide poll found that nearly nine in ten Coloradans rated the rising cost of living as a very serious problem—adding that high housing and health care costs, along with worries about food security and homelessness, compound the issue. The survey also showed that younger women and metro Denver residents voiced strong concerns while about one-third of respondents named government and politics as Colorado’s top issue.
