- ➤ Passengers slid down an emergency slide from an American Airlines 737 MAX 8 at Denver International Airport on Saturday after a landing gear problem caused a tire issue and a small fire—five people were evaluated for injuries with one taken to the hospital—while the FAA launched an investigation. - ➤ Yesterday, lead detective Bobbi Olson testified that James Craig wrote a detailed iPhone note describing how he planned to use cyanide and Clindamycin capsules to alter his image as investigators looked into the poisoning death of his wife Angela, a key element in his trial for first-degree murder and other charges. - ➤ A bomb threat was reported on a Denver-bound Frontier Airlines flight from Seattle-Tacoma Monday morning, and law enforcement found two threatening notes — the flight landed safely with passengers deplaned before being bused to the terminal. Denver7

- ➤ Denver7 heard from firefighter David Vitwar — who worked 12 days as a safety officer with the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control — that the South Rim Fire on the Western Slope burned over 4,200 acres and is 41% contained as of Monday morning.
