- ➤ Lisa Johnson, a 60-year-old who earned an associate degree through the Colorado Re-Engaged program, registered at the University of Denver on Wednesday to pursue her goal of a bachelor's degree amid concerns about tuition and health challenges. State data shows that only about 3% of more than 1,500 former students have re-enrolled to finish a four-year program while Finish What You Started has brought nearly 4,700 adults back to college, highlighting a gap in support for adult learners. - ➤ RTD is launching First Mile Free to offer free Lime and Bird e-bike and scooter rides up to one mile to the University of Denver and Decatur-Federal stations starting in 2026 and 2027.
