After years of hard work and prayers, the Flight 629 Memorial Committee announced a site for a future Weld County memorial at the new fire station (Fire Station 6) at Barefoot Lakes Parkway and Ronald Reagan Blvd. The committee said donations are needed to help build a memorial honoring 44 victims, and the fire station will open in 2027.
