- ➤ Pastry chef Brielle Fratellone began decorating a life-sized gingerbread house at Gaylord Rockies in Aurora on Nov. 21, which used over 2,000 pounds of ingredients and will be on display through New Year's Day — a nod to holiday creativity. Sentinel Colorado
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Higher Learning Commission approved the Community College of Aurora to join its Notification Program for Additional Locations on Nov. 18—this allows the college to open new sites by simply notifying the accreditor rather than seeking advance approval. Officials said the decision supports its five-year plan to expand access to academic and workforce programs for students in Aurora, Centennial and Denver. Sentinel Colorado

- ➤ Goshen Development has acquired The Point building in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood, taking over retail spaces, apartments, and affordable housing units. The company will maintain low-income units owned by Hope Communities and 31 privately owned condos—showing its long-term investment in the area. Denver7
