  • Littleton High International Baccalaureate students are using laser cutters + 3D printers to design accessible products like a board game for blind players with prototypes due by winter break. ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Free residential recycling will start in Colorado in June 2026 when a producer-funded program shifts recycling costs from residents to packaging companies. Local governments can apply for reimbursements while providers and the Circular Action Alliance work together to build necessary recycling infrastructure.  Denver7

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Gov. Jared Polis signed an executive order on Monday to curb a mountain pine beetle outbreak in ponderosa forests along the Front Range. He created a task force to coordinate efforts among local landowners & agencies to reduce wildfire and landslide risks.  Colorado Public Radio

HEALTH NEWS

  • Colorado reported three new measles cases Monday, bringing the year’s total to 36. The cases include a Weld County child (lacking the MMR vaccine) and two unvaccinated contacts in Montezuma County, and state health officials advise vaccination before holiday gatherings to protect the community.  Colorado Public Radio

SPORTS NEWS

  • Broncos Country is buzzing after the team's win over the Packers, and excitement has spread from Empower Field to local schools and living rooms. Local fans and students celebrated the 11-game winning streak and the Broncos’ engaging style of play.  Denver7
