- ➤ Senior Resources of Broomfield (a local nonprofit) runs the Adopt-A-Senior program that pairs volunteers with 310 seniors to deliver gift bags and ease isolation. The holiday drop-offs will occur at the Presbyterian Church on Dec. 21 and Dec. 22. Denver7

- ➤ Edgewater officials this week approved an ordinance increasing the tip credit for restaurant workers to help local eateries manage rising operating costs. The measure—set to be reviewed in July—follows discussions with restaurant owners and could serve as a model for other communities. Denver7
