Nuggets' bench carries them past the Pacers in Mexico City after a 27-point lead shrinks
The AM Denver team
For a while, the Nuggets had a game that looked over by halftime. Then Indiana got hot, and Jamal Murray's step-back 3 from 29 feet made it 102-90 with 8:33 left and quieted the run. Denver held on Saturday at Arena CDMX.
Eleven Nuggets played, and the reserves scored 43 points. Spencer Jones, back from a hamstring injury, scored 13 on 5-of-6 shooting. Mile High Sports says the bench had a big moment in the second quarter, and Denver won that quarter 37-22.
